If you visit one and sign up for a paid plan, the company pays us a commission — always at no extra cost to you, and the price you pay is the same as going there directly. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" and, where they appear on a tool page, labelled as a recommendation.

Advertising

We may show display ads from third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense. Ads are clearly separated from tool content, never interrupt a tool while you are using it, and we do not control which specific advertisers appear. Ad networks may use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy.

Editorial independence

Every calculator and converter on ToolNotch runs entirely in your browser with published formulas — results are not influenced by any commercial relationship. Recommendations and rankings reflect our honest assessment. If that ever stops being true, this page will say so.

Cookies and analytics

ToolNotch uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools people use and how they find the site, and Google AdSense to serve display advertising. Both set cookies in your browser — analytics cookies to count visits and measure traffic sources, advertising cookies to limit how often you see the same ad and to measure whether an ad led to a visit. We do not set our own tracking cookies, we do not build advertising profiles ourselves, and we do not sell any data. The tools themselves — every calculator, converter, and file utility — run without setting a single cookie.

How to opt out

You can turn off personalised advertising for your Google Account on Google's Ads Settings page, and opt out of third-party ad-network cookies through the industry pages at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu. Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies for one specific site in its privacy settings, and tracker-blocking extensions work normally here. Blocking advertising or analytics cookies does not break any tool on the site.

Changes to this page

If we add an advertising network, join an affiliate programme in a new category, or change how any of this works, this page is updated first and the change is reflected in the footer of every page. You never have to accept an affiliate link or an ad to use a tool — every calculator, converter, and file utility works the same whether or not you click anything sponsored, and whether or not you block advertising cookies. You can reach every page of the site through the footer without JavaScript. Nothing on ToolNotch requires an account, and there is no account to delete.
